A Nigerian Army social media account was targeted in what officials described as an attempted unauthorized access, the second reported cyber breach involving a Nigerian military account. The Army said it immediately activated technical and protective measures to secure the platform.
Before the incident was identified as a cybersecurity breach, the Army’s X account had posted updates related to memecoins.
