What Lionel Messi said to Yerry Mina after a penalty miss

Lionel Messi took a passionate sweep against Colombian defender Yerry Mina and asks the Everton star to “dance now” after missing a decisive spot-kick in Argentina’s Copa America semifinal shooter.

Mina took center stage in the quarterfinals of the competition, dancing and celebrating after making a penalty in the penalty shootout over Uruguay.

The Everton star’s actions had clearly stuck with Argentina and Messi, who took great pleasure in giving Mina a taste of their own medicine in the semi-finals.

Mina saw her effort saved by Aston Villa star Emi Martinez, and Messi saw his moment to mock the midfielder and shouted wildly: “Dance now! Dance now!” when he stepped back to the center circle.

Messi was caught in the moment as if we have almost never seen him before, with good example with a fantastic fantastic kick. He was one of three Argentine players who sent out his penalties, while Martinez was able to save three of Colombia’s attempts and booked his place in the grand final.

It was not just Messi who was unusually loud during the shooting, as Martinez himself had great pleasure in pinning Mina throughout his penalty shootout.

The Villa star did not stop talking to Mina for a second and said: “You’re nervous, aren’t you? I can tell you’re nervous. I know where to shoot. Look and see how I eat you. ”

Sure enough, Martinez mind-games worked, as he dived in the right way to palm Mina’s penalty away from goal and gave Argentina the chance to win the match. However, Martinez’s mind-games did not end there, after he celebrated his penalty kick by a pelvic shock with a little gusto.

Martinez and Messi embraced each other at the end of the shooting and knew that they had each played a major role in their country’s development to the Copa America final.

Post on Instagram after the victory, Messi wrote: “Proud and happy to belong to this group !!! Another goal achieved … Thank God that you continue to give me these moments. We go for glory.

“Dibu [Martinez], no words, you deserve it MOST !!! “

After that, Brazil is at the Maracana – and only one game separates Messi and his nation from larger cutlery.
