Nedved discusses the future of Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo
Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved has assured Bianconeri supporters that the future of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala both lies in Turin, with talks underway about a new contract for the Argentine.
The two strikers have been linked with transfers from Juve this summer as their contracts expire at the end of the 2021/22 campaign. Dybala have often caught the attention of Premier League fans and Ronaldo has been rumored to have increased Paris Saint-Germain’s interest.

But Juve’s boss Nedved dismissed those rumors and assured fans that their dynamic duo will stay in Turin this year, while the club work to tie Dybala to a new long-term contract.
“(Director Federico) Cherubini has already been in contact with his (Dybala) agent, who is coming to Turin next week,” Nedved told Sky Sport Italia.
“We are in good time to resolve the situation, it is not a problem.”
As for Ronaldo, there was no suggestion that they would extend their deal after next year, but Nedved rules out the possibility that the Portuguese superstar will leave this summer.
“Ronaldo will return to training on Monday and he will stay with us,” Nedved confirmed.
Ronaldo has maintained his condition away from the club after Portugal’s withdrawal from Euro 2020 but will be reunited with his Juve teammates on Monday. The superstar’s huge salaries make it difficult for him to land a move elsewhere this summer, especially since each buying club would have to pay a significant transfer fee.
Should Juve decide not to renew their deal, which expires at the end of the season, he could then leave for free and secure one last major move.

Nedved also spoke about the future of Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini, who is currently without a contract in Turin. The 36-year-old demonstrated his enormous qualities in Italy’s triumphant Euro 2020 adventure and I Bianconeri are waiting for him to return from his holiday before discussing a new deal.
He added: “When he returns from his summer vacation we can talk.”
