Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro arrives in United States after capture
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro arrived at a U.S. military base in New York state after his capture by U.S. forces in Caracas, setting up an initial appearance in Manhattan federal court on drug-trafficking charges as President Donald Trump declared the United States would “run” Venezuela until a transition can be arranged.
