Qorqor underscored the necessity for peace in Dhusamareb, Galmudug’s heart. He called on all factions to unite, ensuring enduring tranquility and warding off future unrest. Qorqor highlighted the importance of solidarity in tackling disputes.
“We must ready ourselves and ensure peace flourishes. Peace faces many adversaries. Each faction must stand strong and committed. With divine blessing, we will address the conflicts fully,” President Qorqor declared.
Qorqor pointed out that the conflict was not coincidental but stirred by politicians chasing power. He condemned those exploiting the turmoil for personal gains.
“We are aware. This wasn’t mere chance but a calculated move for political leverage. Those voicing such motives must tread carefully and seek divine protection,” Qorqor remarked.
Qorqor mourned the loss of Somali lives, disclosing that security forces hold proof of those instigating and intensifying the conflict. He vowed to unveil this evidence when appropriate.
“Investigators have gathered all pertinent data. Physical proof exists with those who orchestrated and bankrolled the conflict. By divine will, this proof remains intact, and we will reveal it at the right moment. Security will act, and accountability will be ensured,” Qorqor assured.
The President’s statements come amidst a surge in clan skirmishes over grazing territories in the region.
