O’Hara Bids Farewell to Football: Retirement Announcement
Kelley O'Hara, a two-time Women’s World Cup champion, will retire after the 2024 NWSL season. She played in four World Cups between 2011 and 2023, and three Olympics, securing a gold medal in 2012.
At 35 years old, she capped her international career with 160 appearances, scoring three goals and assisting 21, contributing to the 2015 Women’s World Cup victory. She won three titles, one in the Women’s Professional Soccer and two in the NWSL, guiding NJ/NY Gotham FC to their first championship last season.
