Kevin Smith reveals precisely how he misplaced 25 kilos in a single month

Year 2018, Kevin Smith had a heart attack that would eventually change his life – surprisingly for the better. The actor and director, then 47, revealed in a subsequent post for his Instagram account that he had suffered a “100% blockade of [his] LAD artery (also known as ‘the Widow-Maker’ because when you walk you are a goner). “

Since then, Smith has been on a mission to shape and live a long, healthy life for himself and his family. Smith lost more than 50 kilos in the first six months after his heart attack, and he recently revealed that he lost another 25 kilos – this time losing weight in a single month.

On June 23, Smith told his Twitter followers, “I have a pandemic pound to lose. I just have to keep trying,” after a YouTube commentator said it was “time to go back to the hockey jerseys” he was wearing when he was heavier.

Dedicated to losing weight, Smith began hiking daily in the Los Angeles Runyon Canyon.

Look and see, just a month later, Smith had lost 25 kilos and told his followers that he only had two kilos left to lose before he reached his goal.

However, it is not training that has helped Smith achieve the slimmer figure he has now.

“My child encouraged me to be vegan … she was like ‘I have to turn him down’ and she did. And I became vegan,” Smith explained in a 2019 WIRED Autocomplete interview.

But Smith acknowledged that the transition was a tough start, “I hate vegetables … hate them with a passion. It’s very hard to be vegan when you hate vegetables and stuff,” he explained.

Instead of forcing himself to load up on food he did not like, Smith decided to incorporate intermittent fasting into his daily routine. “Given the choice between broccoli and kumquats, you think, ‘I’d rather not eat.’ “And you just do not eat at all, so you just skip meals. I do not eat breakfast. I break the fast at about 1 or 2 in the afternoon – I go as deep into the day as I can – and I do not eat after 8 o’clock at night, he explained.
