PSG transfer news: Achraf Hakimi signing confirmed

Achraf Hakimi has been officially announced as a Paris Saint-Germain player after signing a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 kit.

Inter’s need to generate funds has seen some of their top talents arranged to be available for transfer this summer, with Hakimi one of those whose departure from the club has been expected for some time.

PSG and Chelsea were two of the leaders in the competition against Morocco’s international and it has now been confirmed that the French side have secured the 22-year-old’s services.

The former Real Madrid man has signed a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 kit after undergoing medical treatment in Paris on Tuesday, as PSG’s attempts to strengthen their squad as they look to regain their French title from Lille continue to take speed.

Having already tempted former Liverpool man Georginio Wijnaldum to Paris despite Barcelona’s long-standing pursuit of the Dutchman, PSG are also expected to confirm the arrival of Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma in the near future.

Despite a number of new arrivals who already seem to be on their way to PSG, the club has also been linked with moves for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and the highly ranked midfielder Eduardo Camavinga in Lille.

Even with Mauricio Pochettino’s riches, it seems very unlikely that the club will sanction a move for both French midfielders, but that has not stopped them from giving their interest to the pair.

Should they prove successful in their attempt to lure Pogba to their homeland, United could very well make a move for Camavinga after 90 minutes that the Red Devils see Little Man as a long-term successor to the World Cup winner.

Even with United keeping an eye on Camavinga, it is unlikely that a deal will be made if they can not generate funds from the sale of Pogba, although his Old Trafford exit is far from out of the question when considering how active PSG has been in the market. so far this summer.
