WASHINGTON - U.S. Consultant Ilhan Omar has gained one other time period in Congress' fifth Congressional District of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Omar, 38, defeated his Republican challenger, African-American businessman Lacy Johnson, by 64.6 p.c of the vote to 25.9 p.c, in keeping with the Related Press with 99 p.c of the vote counted.
