English football announces boycott of social media
In response to ongoing and persistent discriminatory online abuses, there will be a widespread boycott of social media from the FA, Premier League, EFL, FA Women's Super League, FA Women's Championship, PFA, LMA, PGMOL, Kick It Out and FSA.
Planned for a complete program in both men's and women's professional games, all clubs across the Premier League, EFL, WSL and Women's Championship will close their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts from 15:00 onwards on Friday 30 April and run until 11.59 on Monday 3 May.
