Will Smith only shared his weight loss in the new video post

If you are among the 61% of adults who have experienced unwanted weight changes during pandemic locking, Will Smith did only something that can help motivate you to some self-care. Earlier this month, the film and TV icon – so beloved for his authenticity – released a full-body image after “countless days grazing through the pantry” under lock and key, committing to getting into the best shape of his life. Three weeks later, Smith has dressed down to show us his progress. We have the video.

Since the announcement on May 4 that he wanted to “FEEL BETTER”, Will Smith has challenged everyone who wants to go with him to jump in and get to work. Smith says he has removed his habit of “midnight muffins”, and a few times a week he has posted photos and videos of himself to get after that. To inspire us all, he also shares pictures of followers who tag him in their own training posts.

Will Smith’s weight loss workout includes treadmill running, running outside (yes, even on rainy days) and some solid resistance training – “Crazy that this was taken just before I picked up the big ones, dang,” he joked in a caption that followed a shot by him on May 18 who engaged in some shoulder presses with what appear to be two 10 pound weights. (Nothing wrong with that!)

On Thursday, he published a shot that he subtitled: “The Pursuit of Happyness.” When he gets real in his boxer shorts, Smith offers a 360-degree shot of his progress almost a month in. (“It’s so nasty,” he laughs.) This is followed by a quick moving assembly of his resistance work, such as leg presses, rows, blinds, curls, weighted squats and some other hard pulls.

With currently 3.6 million likes and over 30,000 comments from followers, Smith’s message clearly follows. Everything shows that when it comes to taking the greatest possible care of ourselves, we just have to commit ourselves and start somewhere.
