Tammy Abraham has emerged as a target for Arsenal, with Chelsea keen to download the striker before striving for their own forward goals.
Abraham has been the blues’ top scorer in each of the last two campaigns, despite falling in favor last season after Frank Lampard’s transfer shot that saw the arrival of Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.

Thomas Tuchel’s appointment in January saw the England international fall further down the picking order, with Abraham giving just 11 appearances in Chelsea’s last 26 Premier League outings.
The Blues have made no secret of their desire to bring Erling Haaland to Stamford Bridge this summer, and 90 Minutes exclusively reveal that they are willing to pay as much as £ 150 million for the Borussia Dortmund hitman.
But their quest for Haaland also means they are also interested in generating funds through player sales, and after offering Abraham to a number of clubs The Telegraph has revealed that Arsenal have given their interest to the 23-year-old.
The report adds that both Tottenham and Inter have also been offered to Abraham, and Chelsea hope the player can be included in any deal involving either Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku.
Abraham has previously talked about his love for Arsenal and how he adored Thierry Henry as a youth, which means that personal terms are unlikely to cause a stumble in any potential deal.
With that said, it is said that the Blues value their academy candidate to as much as 40 million pounds and it is still unclear whether the Gunners are willing to match their valuation.
Mikel Arteta’s desire to increase the quality of his group this summer has been well documented, but so far the only new player through the door has been the Portuguese kid Nuno Tavares.
The Gunners have already missed Emi Buendia to Aston Villa – another club that has been credited with an interest in Abraham – and with less than a month left until the dismissal of the Premier League season 2021/22 Arteta will no doubt be keen to secure more newcomers in the near future.
