Juventus are ready to tell superstar Cristiano Ronaldo that he will not be sold this summer, with the Italian side instead keen to sign him to a new contract.
Rumors of a potential split between Ronaldo and Juventus have been widespread for some time now, with the 36-year-old’s monster salaries believed to be more than a little exaggerated for a club already in financial trouble.

Ronaldo has not exactly calmed the speculation either and admits that he has done everything he intended to do in Italy, although it was recently suggested that he has privately asked Juventus to offer him a new contract.
According to Sky Sports News, that request has been fulfilled positively because Juventus is ready to sit down with Ronaldo to talk about a new deal.
Officials at Allianz Stadium have long stressed that Ronaldo would not be sold this summer – Vice President Pavel Nedved repeated it again this weekend – but until this time the idea of extending the contract had not been discussed.
Now, however, it is believed that Juventus are planning for the future and will soon tell Ronaldo that they will start talks about a new contract in the near future.
