Qatar condemns explosion in Somalia

QOHA, Qatar – The state of Qatar on Thursday expressed its strong condemnation and condemnation of an explosion aimed at a security checkpoint in the capital Mogadishu that killed two people and injured others.

In a statement today, the Foreign Ministry renewed Qatar’s firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism for whatever reasons and motives.

The statement expressed condolences from the state of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Somalia, as they wanted the wounded to recover quickly.
