Clan clash in Mudug results in four fatalities and 11 injuries

Mogadishu (AX) — Fierce fighting erupted on Monday in Mudug, leading to the deaths of four individuals and injuring 11 more, as reported by local sources.

In nearby villages around Do’oleey, two opposing clan militias from Adado and Galkayo got into a skirmish. This feud over grazing territory blew up into a tragic brawl.

As of now, Galmudug’s regional authorities have remained mum on this chaotic incident.

Disputes between clans are a dime a dozen in Mudug and Galgaduud, often sparked by tangled claims of land. These conflicts continue to bring about heavy tolls and unsettle the region significantly.
