Georginio Wijnaldum has admitted that he would love for Paul Pogba to join him in Paris Saint-Germain.
Pogba has not yet agreed on the terms of a new deal at Old Trafford and is thought to have rejected the Red Devils’ latest offer of £ 350,000 a week.

With only one year left on their current contract, United have now accepted that they must sell the World Cup winner for a price fee this summer to avoid the risk of losing him on a free transfer next year.
Despite Real Madrid’s well-proven admiration for the midfielder, Los Blancos’ current financial problems mean it is unlikely they will be able to take out the £ 50m that United are demanding for the Frenchman – a problem that the La Liga giants have also encountered in their quest for Kylian Mbappe.
PSG are now ready to strike back with a bid of 45 million pounds and Wijnaldum has admitted that he would love for the United man to follow him when he moved to Paris this summer.
“I would like to have Pogba with us,” he told RMC Sport. “He is fantastic. I have played against him several times – what a player!
“If you ask any player from another team if he wants Pogba to join him, everyone will say yes because he is an extraordinary player, full of qualities. He has everything, one of the best midfielders in the world. “
Wijnaldum himself is no stranger to long-running transfer sagas, with the Dutchman making us all believe he was on his way to Barcelona this summer just to change and move to PSG.

The former Liverpool man has admitted that it was difficult to reject Barcelona – a club he has supported since childhood – but says that the future plans outlined for him by the PSG hierarchy were enough to convince him to move to Les Parisiens.
“It’s funny because I have to admit it was a very difficult choice,” he added. “I have supported Barça since I was young, I am a fan of the club. We were in negotiations with them and I had a good feeling but I also negotiated with other clubs, PSG arrived before Barça [but] we had just talked, they were not really negotiations.
“I talked to Leonardo and then to him [Mauricio] Pochettino who I know from his time with Tottenham, where I had talked to him once because he wanted to recruit me.
“I already had a good feeling working with him. He explained the PSG project, the fact that they want to win more titles in France but also in Europe and he told me what kind of club it is.”

“I saw that it was a good project and told them that I was open to listening. From there, the negotiations went very well and they did everything, absolutely everything to get me to write.
“They were faster in their negotiations and I felt I was signing for PSG. It was not about making more money here because the difference was not that big – I deny having chosen PSG for the money.”
