Euro 2020 team with the group stage

The group game is over at Euro 2020, so it’s time to crown our round team.

We have seen some fantastic individual performances so far this summer, and there are plenty of players who could have easily managed.

Here is 90mins group in the group game.

Danny Ward (GK) – Few expected Wales to come out of the group stage, and if it were not for Ward, they probably would not have done so. He was excellent in the first three matches, with his best performance against Turkey.

Denzel Dumfries (RB) – Few players have seen their stock rise this summer just like Dumfries. The Dutch winger has already scored two goals and is now linked to some of the biggest teams on the planet.

Leonardo Bonucci (CB) – Bonucci made sure that Italy did not concede a single goal in the groups, but more impressive than his defense was his ridiculous passing interval. A real do-it-all defender.

Simon Kjaer (CB) – The real hero in Euro 2020, what Kjaer did for Christian Eriksen, Denmark and the entire football world, can not be underestimated. Besides, he was actually pretty good at football.

Robin Gosens (LB) – Gosens is the best left wingback on the planet and has so far thoroughly lived up to that reputation. He tormented Portugal and hit one goal and two assists.

Paul Pogba (DM) – Once again, the French version of Pogba has looked like one of the best players on the planet. He’s done everything for Les Bleus.

Kevin De Bruyne (CM) – De Bruyne missed the first game and has played with a broken face, but he has still seen a step over the rest of the competition. Without his heroism against Denmark, Belgium would not have had a 100% record.

Manuel Locatelli (CM) – Italy’s midfield has been ridiculous so far, but the player who has stood out among the crowd is Sassuolo man Locatelli, whose two goals against Switzerland will not be forgotten soon.

Georginio Wijnaldum (AM) – Giant, how fun is the attack-minded Wijnaldum? If PSG have seen his three-goal distance, they will definitely play him in an advanced role next year.

Romelu Lukaku (ST) – Lukaku lived up to his billing as a Golden Boot favorite and was unstoppable in the groups. He went away with three goals and only one man succeeded more.

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) – Ronaldo leads the points list with five goals, including three penalties and one of the most perfect counterattacks you will ever see. He is now tied with Ali Daei for most goals in men’s international football, and it’s probably only a matter of time before he makes it his own.
