5 Chain Restaurant Meals That Can Hit a Full Day of Sodium
Several popular chain restaurant meals can deliver more than the American Heart Association’s recommended daily sodium limit.

The American Heart Association recommends limiting sodium to no more than 2,300 milligrams per day, with an optimal goal of no more than 1,500 mg per day for most adults, but many restaurant meals can exceed those targets, according to an analysis by Eat This.
Below are five chain restaurant meals Eat This reported contain sodium amounts that can reach or surpass a full day’s limit, depending on what else a person eats that day.
Texas Roadhouse Bacon Cheeseburger
Eat This reported that the Bacon Cheeseburger at Texas Roadhouse contains 2,410 mg of sodium per hamburger. The analysis says the item is made with bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion served on a bun with beef fries and a pickle spear.
Eat This also noted that, compared with that cheeseburger, a Texas Roadhouse Grilled Shrimp Dinner (12 Shrimp) contains 4,520 mg of sodium.
Chili’s Buffalo Big Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Eat This reported that Chili’s Buffalo Big Crispy Chicken Sandwich contains 3,400 mg of sodium. The analysis says the sandwich is made with hand-made crispy chicken tossed in buffalo sauce with pickles and a side of house-made ranch.
Eat This added that the sandwich is served with white cheddar mac & cheese and fries.
Domino’s Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
