Sam’s Club sells this Peloton home bike

It is safe to say that the home training brand Peloton has been on quite late. With luxury gym guests forced indoors by a global pandemic, the pioneer manufacturer of the extremely expensive ($ 1,900 and up) virtual training home bike with a virtual screen increased by 232% compared to the year before compared to 2019 – including almost $ 760 million in total. According to at least a report, the good times are still rolling: Peloton experienced a 130% increase in sales in the last quarter alone, and new buyers have a waiting list of six to ten weeks.

If you’ve hungry to get an exercise bike in less time – and you’m looking for something a little more affordable – simply go to your nearest Sam’s Club. Today, the big-box member store announced that they will be selling a Peloton competitor to their members for almost half the price.

The Sam’s Club bike is actually Echelon Fitness Sport-connected bicycleand will sell for $ 799. “Interest in indoor cycling is reaching new heights, but for many people, the reality of owning one still feels financially out of reach,” says Lou Lentine, CEO of Echelon Fitness, explained in a statement.

The bike comes with a 10-inch HD screen, where practitioners can try 100 bike classes with varying degrees of difficulty, all with permission from the EchelonFit app.

It is no surprise that many competitors are competing to join the game for home training equipment. Just last week, TechCrunch reported that the luxury home trainer Tonal, which says sales increased 800% in 2020, partnered with Nordstrom to triple the number of stores where people can purchase the company’s $ 1,500 wall-mounted training mirror.
