Casillas Thrilled About Mbappe’s Potential Transfer to Real Madrid: ‘He’s Desired by All!’

Kylian Mbappe’s switch to Real Madrid got the thumbs up from Iker Casillas, the club’s celebrated ex-captain, earlier this month.

Former Real Madrid stalwart Iker Casillas hailed Mbappe’s recruitment as a significant boon for the legendary football dynasty. The French sensation disclosed his PSG exit in May, and his transition to Madrid wrapped up recently, concluding a prolonged saga of transfer speculations.

Mbappe, 25, inked a quintet-year deal with the LaLiga victors, joining them as a libre post his tenure at PSG. Meanwhile, Brazilian prodigy Endrick is also poised to don the Madrid jersey.

Flanked by a crew brimming with prowess, which also clinched the Champions League, Casillas is wowed by the ensemble Madrid has cultivated. “Mbappe is a top-tier talent,” Casillas declared. “He’s a gem everyone desires in their lineup. Real Madrid boasts a formidable administration. Crafting such a squad is indeed laudable.”

“By gleaning lessons from yesteryears, the team’s legacy endures, supported by its brilliant roster,” Casillas observed, admiring Madrid’s robust assembly. “Let’s watch if they keep synergizing and delighting their fans.”

Injury threatened to sideline Mbappe during Euro 2024 after a mishap in France’s opener versus Austria. Casillas noted, “France might struggle a bit without Mbappe.” With his availability for upcoming games in limbo, France still enjoys a robust setup that could vie for the championship, thanks to a squad invigoration by Didier Deschamps.

Spain holds the unique distinction of consecutive Euro titles, with Casillas at the helm in 2008 and 2012 and their World Cup victory in 2010. This year, a rejuvenated Spanish team took the field, featuring Lamine Yamal, history’s youngest Euro contender at 16 years and 338 days.

Casillas commended Spain’s coach, Luis de la Fuente, for his trust in youth, giving Yamal and others a stage to shine. “It’s refreshing to see Spain’s young talents gaining recognition. They represent the future stars,” he said.

“The real test is up to Yamal alone – backed by diligence and confidence. With the support from his peers, his potential could truly flourish,” added Casillas, praising the squad’s depth and the continuous emergence of gifted players.

As a brand ambassador for Hisense’s UEFA EURO 2024 BEYOND GLORY campaign, Casillas celebrates the unyielding excellence pursued by both elite footballers aiming for EURO glory and Hisense’s innovative spirit in the appliance sector.
