Netanyahu Compares Somaliland’s Recognition Bid to Israel’s Campaign for Jerusalem Recognition

Jerusalem – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country faces challenges similar to those faced by Somaliland, stating that both sides are seeking recognition.
Netanyahu made the remarks during a joint press conference with Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cirro) following a meeting in Jerusalem, the city controlled by Israel.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said that just as Somaliland seeks international recognition, Israel is also campaigning for Jerusalem to be recognized as its capital.
