The youngest goal scorers in El Clasico history

The story continues to be rewritten in one of the world’s most historic football matches, which is played out between two of the game’s biggest sides.

El Clasico matches between Real Madrid and Barcelona are filled with memorable moments and fantastic goals, but you can also add prodigies to the list as well. Some legendary names wrote La Liga record books in this fixture, and the group has continued to grow.

Although there are players who have scored goals in El Clasico at a younger age, few, if any, did so with quite a lot of influence from Lionel Messi.

His first goal against Real Madrid came in the form of a hat trick in 2007, when three Camp Nou strikes helped Barcelona to a draw in an exciting 3-3 meeting.

He’s been doing well ever since.

It was not the most beautiful goal in El Clasico history, but Vinicius would not have cared about tuppence when his heavily deflected strike opened the scoring for Real.

His goal in March 2020 set the tone for a 2-0 victory for Los Blancos, a decisive clash during the season’s title race when Zinedine Zidane’s side moved over Barça in the table and finally won La Liga.

Not all of the youngest goal scorers in the fixture came recently, with teenage players decorating El Clasico clashes for several years before the turn of the century.

In fact, 59 years earlier, to be exact.

Francisco Calvet netted Real’s first goal in a 4-3 victory in 1941. An unforgettable moment for the midfielder.

Now we’re talking. Roger Garcia entered the very young crop and entered the history books when he equalized Barcelona in a 1-1 draw back in 1995.

The midfielder would not continue to secure legendary status as some of the other players on this list, but his place in Clasico folklore is secure for many years to come.

The 1-1 draw in 1995 was certainly memorable.

Garcia grabbed the equalizer, but a player 204 days his junior had already opened the scoring that day; none other than Raul.

His strike in the 12th minute made him the second youngest goal scorer in this match in history and the youngest in the 2000s. He went on to make 14 more appearances against Barcelona for Real.

17 years. It is remarkable to think that a player as a young man even participates in a fixture of this magnitude, let alone points in it.

Ansu Fati is at a record distance in Barça, even though this particular record has not been broken. His equalizer in the 3-1 defeat to Real was considered to have him as the youngest goal scorer ever in Clasico history – Barcelona admit that he is – but the facts are the facts and his close distance has now ended up in second place on the list.

Still does not take away from what special talent the Spanish expedition is.

FCB 1-1 RMA (9 ‘) – Ansu Fati (17 years and 359 days) is the SEGUNDO top scorer in TODA the history of #Clasico. The record (which could beat Pedri) was written by Alfonso Navarro who scored with 17 years and 356 days (only three days less than Fati) in the classic of 30.03.1947.

Party pooper Alfonso Navarro still holds the record he set in 1947, and it’s one that is unlikely to be broken – sorry again, Ansu – anytime soon.

Barcelona won the special battle 3-2 in 1947, with Navarro making each side at half time. He joins a full three days younger than Fati and the striker is still at the top of the pile for this particular award.

During his career, he enjoyed two separate spells with La Blaugrana, sandwiched between a year with, you guessed it, Real Madrid.
