Man Utd predicted the lineup against Granada

Manchester United hope to secure a place in the Europa League semi-final for the second season in a row when they face Granada in their second leg at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have a 2-0 lead from the first stage thanks to goals from star duo Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes, which means they are heavy favorites to advance to the next round.

With Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay suspended, plus Rashford breastfeeding injuries, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must rotate his team but still make sure he has enough quality to ignore his happy La Liga opponents.

Here is the 90 min predicted United lineup.

David De Gea (GK) – The Spaniard is behind Dean Henderson in the breeding order now, but should still have the gloves when it comes to European football.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RB) – A regular start in a defense weakened by suspensions, Wan-Bissaka will need to play from off for acquaintances if nothing else.

Victor Lindelof (CB) – Despite a long backlog, Maguire’s absence and Eric Bailly’s Covid-19 problem mean that Lindelof will probably be needed here.

Axel Tuanzebe (CB) – Has not played since the second league in the Europa League against Real Sociedad, so it is important to make a good impression.

Alex Telles (LB) – The Brazilian hill would probably start anyway, but Shaw’s shutdown means it’s almost certain. His crossing and fitting accuracy could be the key to unlocking Granada.

Fred (CM) – An okay performance against Spurs was topped with a very important goal, so Solskjär should keep pace by starting Fred again.

Nemanja Matic (CM) – No McTominay means it is between Serbian and Pogba, but with the Frenchman probably rested for some big game heads, Matic can be used as a second anchor.

Bruno Fernandes (CAM) – This would ideally be a great chance for Donny van de Beek to play, but Fernandes is too important to let go with other regular first team players.

Juan Mata (RW) – The former Chelsea and Valencia man has been a number of players this season, but Mata should get a few minutes here.

Mason Greenwood (ST) – Three goals and an assist in his last four games, Greenwood puts his claim on a regular starting spot in the Manchester United attack.

Daniel James (LW) – James missed this weekend’s match at Spurs with a knock but his availability here could give Rashford a breather.
