Cunha Expresses Delight at Wolves Amid Manchester United’s Growing Interest

Matheus Cunha has expressed sheer delight with his tenure at Wolves, brushing off rumors of transferring to Manchester United.

The striker, bound to Wolves until 2027, has captured Manchester United’s interest with an imposing £60 million offer.

Cunha transitioned from Atletico Madrid, initially on loan in early 2023. In spite of several injuries, he delivered an impressive tally of 12 goals and seven assists in the 2023-24 campaign.

Garnering adoration from Wolverhampton supporters, Cunha’s highlights include a striking hat-trick versus Chelsea and scoring in an FA Cup victory over local adversaries, West Bromwich Albion.

Currently vacationing in Brazil, Cunha affirmed his commitment to Wolves while attending a Botafogo soccer game, amidst swirling transfer gossip.

“We bump into these stories [of Manchester United courting him]. Nevertheless, I’m overjoyed here,” he relayed to reporters.

“Currently, my priority is to chill and relish time with kin. I’m ecstatic here and eager to contribute more robustly in the coming seasons,” he added.
