Blaugrana Dominate Rayo Vallecano with Lewandowski and Pedri Goals, Securing Second Spot in Barcelona Victory

Barcelona triumphed over Rayo Vallecano 3-0 in their second-to-last match of the season. A goal by Robert Lewandowski and a double by Pedri secured the victory for Barcelona. The win moved Barcelona to 82 points, placing them four points ahead of Girona. Real Madrid, the champions, are currently 12 points ahead of Barcelona with one more game left to play. Barcelona took the lead in the third minute when Lamine Yamal passed to Lewandowski who scored expertly. Despite Rayo having opportunities to equalize, Barcelona’s magic footwork led to a second goal by Pedri. Shortly after, Pedri scored another goal from a long ball by Ronald Araujo. Barcelona’s next game will be away at Sevilla, while Rayo will host Athletic Bilbao. Lewandowski has now scored 25 goals this season and has achieved this feat for the 11th consecutive season, surpassing all other players in the top five European leagues.
