the list of Ivory Coast against France, without Seko
Côte d’Ivoire will play a friendly match against the French team on March 25 at the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille. Patrice Beaumelle, coach of the Elephants, presented the list of 25 elements called to this meeting.
In Marseille we find the usual managers, in particular Sébastien Haller, Franck Kessié, Nicolas Pépé, Serge Aurier, Eric Bailly, Max-Alain Gradel or even Wilfried Zaha. Three new players appear: Mohamed Koné (20 years), 3rd goalkeeper in Le Havre, left side of AC Ajaccio Ismaël Diallo (25 years) and midfielder in Betis Sevilla Paul Akouokou (24 years).
Absent in recent months to focus on RC Lens, Seko Fofana is not on the list. “He has always been a part of all my listings. We missed him during this CAN”, however, had recently recognized the French technician in the program “Talents d’Afrique” on Canal + Africa. And to explain: “Seko Fofanam said like this:” I want to end my season with Lens but I want to come. When I come (in selection) I will fight to be a starter. “is that there are better.” The time of return is obviously not relevant.
Gervinho, still injured, is not on the list. Titular goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohouo is still suspended for doping. Other absences: Wilfried Kanon, Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Yohan Boli, or even Amad Diallo.
After the match against the Blues, the Elephants, who were knocked out in the last 16 of the latest CAN in Cameroon by Egypt, and who did not qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals, will still face England in a friendly match on March 29, at Wembley.
