Finding a small gift for the kids, a nice outfit or even a tree, it will be a little harder for this client this year, more worried about the financial difficulties than the voting. “This is not what will lead to the change we expect, so it interests us very little. (…) With Covid-19 which has drastically blocked the economy, it is difficult, he explains.

As he sits in front of his store, a salesperson is also worried about the financial difficulties, which are the core of his concerns. “Life is expensive, there is no money, no work and many problems … The choice that can not affect, he says. For this Cameroonian, these regional councils are seen as a new administrative level that will not bring about any change in their difficult everyday life.
