RDR Tchandji activists do not hide their satisfaction. The voting instructions that Hama Amadou gave to supporters of Moden Fa Lumana are no surprise, they explain, but it gives them more strength, according to this young man, nicknamed the student:

It remains to be seen whether the followers of Moden Fa Lumana will respect the voting instructions and will make good choices. candidate Mahamane OusmaneThis party activist is convinced of:

“No matter what he said we would do, we will do it. We are ready to vote on Sunday. I will be the first to enter the ballot box. I’m ready.”

Is this rapprochement between the two men in the ranks of the other parties worrying? Seini Oumarou’s MNSD activists show their composure and focus on their own part of the campaign, according to this activist who was a candidate in the local elections:

“You know, the alliance between Hama Amadou and Mahamane Ousmane is quite logical (…). When it comes to us at MNSD, we have our alliance. We are calm, there are no problems with that. ”

The same calm shown by sympathizers from the PNDS, the ruling party. With or without reconciliation, they continue to bet on a victory their candidate, Mohamed Bazoum, appointed successor to outgoing President Mahamadou Issoufou.
