A team from Mogadishu University sauntered into Poland, aiming to establish partnerships with EU institutions.

Headed by Quality Assurance maestro Abdiwali Sheikh Mohamed, the university revealed its crew is in Poznan, politicking with EU Universities, featuring Uniwersytet WSB Merito.

During this sojourn, they will hunker down in crucial powwows and workshops hosted by WSB University, critical for nurturing EU collaborations.

The delegation will hobnob with universities from the Inclusive and Innovative Digital Education for Migrant Community project, involving scholars from Kenya and Somalia.

This collaboration enlists institutions spanning Somalia, Kenya, Turkey, and Poland.

Areas of intrigue include student swap programs, co-op ventures, shared research, and faculty moves, enriching academic lives.

The mission also targets alliances to boost scholarly progress through collective academic councils.

For years, folks have clamored for Somalia’s education system to concoct guidelines for doling out degrees.

Experts griped about universities’ sluggishness in enhancing frameworks, hampering the training of vital professionals like doctors and engineers, pivotal for post-war reconstruction.

They argue these institutions are overly zealous in pumping out Sharia, law, and business grads, clouding the career prospects of many students.
