22 more die when violence seizes South Africa
Another 22 people have died in riots in South Africa, a provincial official said on Tuesday, bringing the national number of deaths from violence to 32.
The fee in KwaZulu-Natal province is now 26, Sihle Zikalala told a news conference on Tuesday, a day after officials confirmed six deaths in Gauteng province.
"These were people who were killed during storms when protesters sprang up," he said, without specifying which parts of the province.
