Somalia's Ministry of Labour Welcomes New Director General at Formal Handover Ceremony

Mogadishu — A formal handover at the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Mogadishu marked a seamless change of command as Somalia’s labour ministry welcomed a new director general in a ceremony that underscored continuity and a call for strengthened public service.

At the event, outgoing Director General Yusuf Hassan Isack formally transferred his duties to the newly appointed Director General, Mohamed Saney Dalmar.

The ceremony, led by Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Salim Alio Ibrow, drew senior ministry officials who witnessed the official transition of leadership.

Minister Ibrow praised Yusuf Hassan Isack for his commitment and the contributions he made while in office, wishing him well as he moves on. He also extended his congratulations to Mohamed Saney Dalmar, urging him to discharge his duties with integrity, professionalism, and a clear focus on advancing the ministry’s priorities.

Speaking at the handover, the incoming Director General thanked those who placed their trust in him and vowed to lead with dedication and accountability, prioritizing the strengthening of the ministry’s operations and improved delivery of services to the public.
