Real Madrid Clinches 15th European Title with Dominant Victory Over Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid claimed their 15th European title after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the Champions League final. Although Dortmund initially threatened an upset, Real Madrid dominated in the end.

The Spanish team, considered favorites, struggled at times during the game but eventually secured the victory with goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior. Carvajal scored a header from a corner by Toni Kroos in the 74th minute, igniting Madrid’s momentum.

Vinicius sealed the win with a goal in the 83rd minute, leaving Dortmund fans disappointed. Despite Dortmund’s strong performance, they missed key opportunities in the first half, with Niclas Fullkrug hitting the post.

This victory marked Madrid’s first undefeated European campaign, with nine wins and four draws in 13 matches. Vinicius also became the youngest player to score in two Champions League finals at just 23 years and 325 days old, having previously scored in the 2022 final against Liverpool.
