Magnificent Montero Takes Helm at Juventus for Rest of Season

Following the recent dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus has selected Paolo Montero to lead the team for the remainder of the season. Allegri was let go on Friday due to his behavior during and after the Coppa Italia final, where he received a red card. Montero, who currently coaches the Juventus Under-19s team, will step in for the team’s final two matches against Bologna and Monza. The 52-year-old former Juventus player will begin his coaching duties on Sunday. Juventus praised Montero as a club legend who embodies their values on and off the pitch and wished him luck in his new role. Despite securing a spot in the Champions League, Juventus is still aiming to finish the season between third and fifth place in Serie A.
