Bukayo Saka was restored to start XI
Gareth Southgate has just made a change in the England team to face Denmark on Wednesday night, with Bukayo Saka replacing Jadon Sancho in start XI.
The Three Lions enter the game and want to make history to become the first England team to ever reach a European Championship final.
England have twice reached the semi-final phase – 1968 and 1996 – but they have never managed to reach the show event.
Their clash with Denmark represents a huge opportunity for them to do just that when they face Kasper Hjulmand at Wembley, and Southgate have made just one change from the team that performed so impressively against Ukraine in the quarterfinals.
Arsenal man Saka is drawn into the front line instead of Sancho, who may be unlucky enough to miss after his impressive display in the 4-0 victory last time.
Jordan Pickford starts in goal and despite speculation, Southgate can play with a back three, he seems to have gone with four at the back again with Harry Maguire and John Stones in the heart of the defense and Luke Shaw and Kyle Walker on both sides.
Looking to make history.

Midfield three by Kalvin Phillips, Mason Mount and Declan Rice remain intact, while Saka is united in the front line by England’s top scorers Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling.
Both Kane and Sterling have a great opportunity to claim the Golden Boot in this summer’s tournament, with no players left in the competition currently scoring more goals than their respective three.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Patrik Schick are currently leading with five goals each, with a number of Italian players who have scored twice, while Denmark’s Kasper Dolberg has also scored three, which means if England can advance to the final Kane and Sterling are in with one good shot of finishing as top scorer.
