Luther Tarpeh, the chairman of the ruling Unity Party, announced plans for a special committee tasked with identifying “non-performing” cabinet members. These individuals, he stated, are not effectively contributing to the party’s and government’s objectives. The findings will be handed over to the president for consideration. As the administration nears the midpoint of its term, Tarpeh emphasized that a cabinet reshuffle is not just necessary, but “long overdue.”
Additionally, he pointed out the party’s commitment to recognizing achievements while also voicing concerns regarding any obstacles encountered along the way.
