Salaam Somali Bank helps small businesses grow

MOGADISHU, Somalia – Salaam Somali Bank (SSB) continues to provide free microfinance to small businesses in the country as part of a grant program aimed at improving the start-up economy.

On Thursday, the bank’s branch in KM5 in Mogadishu provided free microfinance to local retailers, including women, to help improve their small and developing businesses.

Speaking at the event, one of the recipients of Salaam Somali Bank’s free microfinance in the city thanked the bank for the free microfinance support it gave him that makes sense.

In its vital service, Salaam Somali Bank has won praise for its commitment to improving the lives of Somali people through investment and a free microfinance fund set up to help local retailers.

The bank says the free microfinance to local retailers is part of the annual free microfinance fund for the development and improvement of small businesses in all regions of Somalia.

In addition, the bank in Mogadishu also supports entrepreneurs by providing early phase and growth financing with active support to special young and female entrepreneurs.

The foundation aims to provide entrepreneurs with an inspiring vision to solve major problems and create commercial solutions in Somalia, a country that has been plagued by decades of conflict and famine.
