opponent Bobi Wine under fire from security forces

In Uganda, presidential candidate Bobi Wine, whose real name is Robert Kyagulanyi, had to cancel his campaign yesterday, Tuesday 1 December. His vehicle came under fire from security forces. Two members of his campaign team were also injured.

Opponent of President Yoweri Museveni appeals to the Electoral Commission. He demands that this ensures the security of the election process and of all candidates: “We would compete in Jinja today, but as you can see we are completely fixed.”

“Who is responsible for this election?”

“The army and the police fired at our car,” the opponent continues, “fired on our two tires and we can not continue today’s program. But tomorrow we will meet the election commission. We want the Election Commission to tell who is responsible for this election. Is it the army and the police or the election commission? ”

“We want answers”

“We just survived the bullets. Our lives have been focused. And the election commission is still silent. That is why we are going there tomorrow to ask questions and we want answers “, Bobi Wine concludes.
