The two nearest capitals of the world, separated by the Congo River, Brazzaville and Kinshasa, share the same spectrum of transmission and telecommunications frequencies. This sometimes gives rise to misunderstandings. For a coordinated management of these frequencies, the regulatory authorities in the two cities have just concluded an agreement.

It is to remedy all these problems that the Congolese capital has reached an agreement with its sister for coordination and coordinated management of frequencies at the borders. Kinshasa even undertook to return all frequencies that were used but did not belong to it.
Joseph Yuma Utchedi, Head of International Relations at the Post and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ARPT) in Kinshasa, is very pleased with the signing of this agreement.
“This is something very important because if the two countries do not get along, it is their consumers who are still suffering from roaming problems.
