Former Aide to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Reveals Shocking Role in Drug Purchases and Organizing Sex Parties
In a recent testimony at Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s sex trafficking trial, the former personal assistant, Brendan Paul, revealed intriguing details about his time with the hip-hop mogul. Paul stated that he frequently purchased drugs for Mr. Combs and arranged accommodations for elaborate parties dubbed “wild king nights.”

Prosecutors are banking on Paul’s insights to solidify their racketeering conspiracy case against Combs. They allege that Mr. Combs manipulated resources from his businesses to compel women into engaging in ecstasy-fueled sexual encounters with male sex workers. As Paul noted, “It was a volatile environment where boundaries were often blurred.”
While Mr. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to all five criminal charges, asserting that any sexual activity was consensual, the stakes are high. If convicted, he could face life in prison. The founder of Bad Boy Records, a pivotal figure in elevating hip-hop culture, stands at a crossroads that could redefine his legacy.
During his testimony, Paul, benefiting from immunity in exchange for his cooperation, disclosed that he spent approximately $4,200 on marijuana and hundreds on ketamine during his tenure with Mr. Combs.
The jury reviewed a text message in which Paul sought reimbursement from Mr. Combs’s security staff for these drug purchases. Among the texts presented was a notable message from February 14, 2024, in which Mr. Combs requested, “You get me zans.” Paul clarified that this was an inquiry for Xanax without a prescription. He went on to mention that Mr. Combs eventually sourced Xanax from a different location and acknowledged witnessing Combs use cocaine and ecstasy in his presence.
Under cross-examination by defense attorney Brian Steel, Paul maintained that procuring drugs was a minor aspect of his responsibilities, with the belief that the substances were intended solely for Mr. Combs’s personal use. “You were not some drug mule?” Steel probed. “Absolutely not,” Paul responded assertively.
Paul also detailed his preparations for the “wild king nights,” saying he stocked hotel rooms with lubricant, baby oil, liquor, and a Gucci pouch filled with hard drugs. “It was all about creating an atmosphere,” he explained. After the events, he described putting on gloves to clean the rooms, ensuring that no additional charges would be levied by the hotels.
Adding another layer to the case, Paul recounted an encounter with law enforcement on March 25, 2024, when he was arrested at Miami-Opa Locka Airport while en route to the Bahamas with Mr. Combs and other staff members. He revealed that he had inadvertently packed cocaine he discovered while cleaning Mr. Combs’s room, but did not disclose its origin to authorities. When questioned by prosecutor Christy Slavik about his silence, Paul simply replied, “Loyalty.” Notably, the cocaine charges against him have since been dropped.
This ongoing trial continues to unfold, with layers of intrigue yet to be fully revealed as both sides mount their arguments in court.
