90 days fiancé star Angela Deem struggling with her weight has been well documented, but the reality star has recently undergone a massive weight loss transformation that has left her almost unrecognizable. In a new exclusive interview with US Weekly, Deem reveals it she loses “85 to 90 pounds” after a gastric gastrectomy surgery, which reduces the human stomach capacity.
After realizing she had gained “almost 25 pounds” during a trip to Nigeria, Deem said her weight began to disrupt her daily life to the point where she “could not even go to the grocery store with the kids to get food” without breathing .
“I felt I would have died without the weight loss surgery,” Deem admitted. “I’m worried. If I do not get on the table, I will die.”
Deem decided that, in order to lose the extra weight once and for all, she would not only undergo gastrectomy of the sleeve but also a breast reduction and liposuction.

While her children were worried about the safety of undergoing so many procedures, the reality star said she was anxious to get everything done in one shot. “I’m going to do everything I can while I’m there, and I’m strong, and I’m going to be okay. I said, ‘This is something I need to do,'” Deem explained.
Once she was on the operating table, the number of procedures increased when doctors discovered untreated hernias that required medical attention.
“I actually had five surgeries in one day. I was under anesthesia for six hours,” Deem revealed.
It is clear that the transformation has not only increased Deem’s self-confidence, but also her comfort in her body. The reality star has chosen to show off her impressive weight loss with dance videos on TikTok, where she looks like a new woman.

“It’s a journey – not just physical but an emotional journey,” Deem said. Although Deem has acknowledged that her transformation was not an easy feat, she said it was worth it in the end, as she hopes it will extend her life. “I did it for myself to stay alive … and [to] benefit those I love, ”she explained.
