Toulouse Upsets Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 Champions Celebration: A 1-3 Victory for the Visitors

Paris Saint-Germain faced a shocking 3-1 defeat against Toulouse, losing for the first time in 26 Ligue 1 matches on Sunday, marking only their second loss this season.

Luis Enrique’s team struggled after their Champions League elimination by Borussia Dortmund, suffering another defeat at home, maintaining a 6-point lead over Monaco with 70 points from 32 games.

Kylian Mbappe, who recently announced his departure from PSG, scored the first goal. Toulouse equalized through Thijs Dalling and took the lead with a stunning goal by Yann Gboho in the 68th minute.

Toulouse sealed the victory with a stoppage-time goal by Frank Magri, currently in the 10th position in the standings with 43 points.

PSG’s defensive struggles are evident, having gone 11 consecutive home games without a clean sheet in Ligue 1, equalling their record from October 1978 – May 1979.

The defeat also ended PSG’s chance to equal their second-longest unbeaten run in the league, falling short of their 27-game streak between August 1993 and April 1994, with the longest being 36 games from March 2015 to February 2016.
