Santo officially named Spurs

Tottenham have confirmed the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager, with the former Wolves boss signing a deal that will run until 2023.

Spur’s search for Jose Mourinho’s successor has seen them linked to everyone from Antonio Conte to Gennaro Gattuso, but rumors of Santos’ arrival have recently picked up.

The North London club has now confirmed the appointment. On the club’s website, Santo said: “When you have a group with quality and talent, we want to make the fans proud and enjoy.

“It’s a huge pleasure and honor (to be here), there’s joy and I’m happy and looking forward to starting work. We have no days to lose and we have to start working immediately when the pre-season starts in a few days.”
