Tottenham have confirmed the arrival of Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager, with the former Wolves boss signing a deal that will run until 2023.
Spur’s search for Jose Mourinho’s successor has seen them linked to everyone from Antonio Conte to Gennaro Gattuso, but rumors of Santos’ arrival have recently picked up.

The North London club has now confirmed the appointment. On the club’s website, Santo said: “When you have a group with quality and talent, we want to make the fans proud and enjoy.
“It’s a huge pleasure and honor (to be here), there’s joy and I’m happy and looking forward to starting work. We have no days to lose and we have to start working immediately when the pre-season starts in a few days.”
Chairman Daniel Levy added: “First of all, I would like to welcome Nuno to the club. We want to thank our followers for all the patience throughout the process.
“I’ve already talked about the need to go back to our core DNA of playing attacking, entertaining football and Fabio and I think Nuno is the man who can take our talented group of players, embrace our young players who come through and build something special. ”

Newly appointed CEO Fabio Paratici also said: “Briefly for this appointment has always been clear, we wanted a head coach who can introduce all the values that are important to this football club.
“You just have to look at Nuno’s time at Wolves to see his ability to take a group of players and implement an adaptive style that gives success and enables players to develop and thrive. We all look forward to getting started in what we do. hope will be a successful time with the club. “
