Roma opens talks for Lenglet
Jose Mourinho wants to give Clement Lenglet a route from Barcelona, where Roma start talks about an agreement for the defender.
The French international has been seen as a surplus of demands at Camp Nou as Barça look to raise money and reduce their salary costs to re-sign Lionel Messi.

Sport reports that Roma have begun negotiations with Blaugrana regarding Lenglet and are willing to offer 15 million euros to the center-back. But Barcelona are holding out for a fee of around 25 million euros, and the move to Roma is not high on Lenglet’s priorities right now.
He would prefer to stay at Barça, but if he was forced out of the club he would rather move to the Premier League. West Ham and Everton have received an interest, while Arsenal and Tottenham have also been linked with a move recently.
Barcelona are believed to have asked for Lorenzo Pellegrini in a substitution deal with Roma, although the Serie A club are not keen on using the midfielder as a weight.
While Lenglet is pushed towards the exit door, co-defenders Sergino Dest and Samuel Umtiti have also been linked to moving from Camp Nou this summer. The United States’ international Dest arouses interest from Bayern Munich – who were beaten by his signing last summer by Barça – while Umtiti has freer in England.

90 minutes recently revealed that the proposed swap deal with Atletico Madrid that would have seen Antoine Griezmann return to the Spanish capital and Saul Niguez leads to Catalonia has fallen through. However, a transfer to the Premier League is on the table and Barcelona hope that an English club will join France in the future.
Barcelona’s season starts on August 15 against Real Sociedad, and they will be desperate to have done enough to bring Messi back to the club.
