Martino Issues Apology to Disappointed Vancouver Fans Due to Messi’s Absence

The BC Place was packed with fans eagerly awaiting Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suarez to take the field for Inter Miami. However, the trio did not show up, leaving the crowd frustrated on Sunday.

Inter Miami managed to secure a 2-1 win against Vancouver Whitecaps without Messi, Busquets, and Suarez. This led their coach, Gerardo Martino, to offer his apologies for the absence of the former Barcelona stars.

Expecting a larger crowd to welcome the global superstars, Vancouver’s BC Place was surprised by the absence of Messi. As a result, Whitecaps’ Axel Schuster had to apologize to the disappointed fans.

Martino chose to leave his star players at home for the match, which extended Miami’s unbeaten streak to 10 games. Despite the absence of their top players, the team performed well and secured a victory.

Both Schuster and the Whitecaps expressed their regret over Messi, Busquets, and Suarez’s absence on the field. Vancouver acknowledged the disappointment of the fans but remained hopeful for the future.

Disappointment loomed over Vancouver as they faced their sixth straight loss in MLS matches. The absence of key players from Inter Miami might have been a contributing factor to their defeat.
