Manchester City 2021/22 FPL Player Awards

The Fantasy Premier League awards for each Manchester City player have been revealed, which means you can start planning your choices for the 2021/22 season.

City players are always popular with FPL executives, although Pep Guardiola’s penchant for rotation can be outrageous. However, play your cards right, and Cityzens can be your main source of points for the upcoming campaign.

Right at the top of the scale is Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian is always one of the most expensive players in the game and this year it is no different. The midfield talisman gives you 12 million pounds back but he is an almost guaranteed scorer.

The city’s second most expensive alternative is Raheem Sterling. Last campaign he was in and out from start XI and returned his worst points in total since the 2016/2017 season, 154. It is probably better to find out if Guardiola sees a future for Sterling in the first team before you put all your eggs in this basket.

At the opposite end of the field, Golden Glove winner Ederson is one of only three goalkeepers worth £ 6 million. The other two are Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy and Liverpool’s Alisson.

Elsewhere, FWA Player of the Year Ruben Dias is the only midfielder in the game worth £ 6 million. He collected 142 points last semester and is one of the few who nailed starters for City on their way into the new season.
