Harry Kane transferred last – he can ask to leave Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has tipped to push for a transfer this summer if the club does not manage to end up in the Premier League’s top four and qualify for the Champions League.

Kane’s future at Spurs has been the subject of growing speculation amid ongoing concerns that he has been frustrated by the club’s lack of competitiveness at the highest level.

Individually, the 27-year-old has returned to his best form this season after injuries limited his production during each of the last two seasons, but Spurs will end another trophy-free campaign if they can not disrupt odds and beat Manchester City this month’s EFL Cup final.
Even success in that competition, which would represent a first career trophy for Kane, may not be enough. Spurs have gone backwards in the Premier League since they came second in 2016/17 and were embarrassed in the Europa League this season when they collapsed against Dinamo Zagreb.
According to The Athletic, Kane has “lost patience” with Spurs and is “prepared” to inform the club hierarchy that he is ready for a new challenge if they do not meet the minimum goals, while he is said to know the biggest prizes. are more distant than when he signed his current contract in 2018.
Kane is legitimately among the best strikers in the world, but should Spurs fail to qualify for the Champions League, it would be the second year in a row from the elite competition when it was at its peak.
The England captain has already been linked with both Real Madrid and Manchester City in recent weeks. Manchester United are also in the market for a striker and The Athletic are adding them to the mix. All three clubs have their eyes on Erling Haaland, but only one can win that race for the coveted Norwegian and leave the other two to consider alternative alternatives.
The problem for Kane if he wants to leave, as well as all the clubs that want to pursue him, will be Tottenham, who are expected to dig in and complicate talks or negotiations.
A contract until the summer of 2024 ensures that Spurs are not under pressure to sell and it was rumored earlier this month that they have completely ruled out letting him join another Premier League club, while placing a price tag of 175 million pounds to scare away teams.

Kane himself has remained for the future. He has refused to discuss it directly, but has also gone through the question of possibly moving on and has not ruled out anything.
“I think it’s a difficult question to answer right now,” he said during the international break.
“It is important that all my focus is on the England matches that are coming now and the rest of the season with Spurs and then Euro. Thinking about speculation or rumors would be detrimental to my own performance.
“I always like to be focused on a goal and a job and that is to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully continue and have fantastic euros. I try to stay away from that speculation as much as possible. I am completely focused on doing the job on the pitch until the end of the summer and then we will see where we go from there. ”

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho recently commented that he has not spoken to Kane about his immediate future, but insisted there has been nothing to talk about.
“Three years of his contract [left]. I have nothing to talk to him about. If he does not want to talk to me about it and until now he never contacted me in relation to anything, says Mourinho.
