Leah Williamson is committed to winning more titles with Arsenal after renewing her contract to extend her remarkable 19-year tenure with the club. The English defender, who first tried out for the Gunners at just eight years old, has reached a new agreement with the Women’s Super League team.
After recovering from a severe anterior cruciate ligament injury that caused her to miss the 2023 Women’s World Cup final, Williamson returned to action in February. The 27-year-old, who captained England to Euro 2022 success, has made 232 appearances for Arsenal, securing the Women’s Super League title, as well as the FA Cup and League Cup twice.
