Bayern Munich set a huge demand for Kingsley Coman

Bayern Munich are not interested in parting ways with Liverpool goal Kingsley Coman this summer and have put a price tag of 100 million pounds on the striker to deter freers.

It was recently revealed that Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Coman, who has two years left on his contract at the Allianz Arena and has lost his head with those responsible over an extension.

Coman is striving for a substantial salary increase to bring him closer to the club’s highest earners, but Bayern have rejected the proposal and have made him a smaller offer, leaving the French international in limbo.

Liverpool had been tipped to take advantage of it, with a bid of around £ 35 million rumored to be underway, but Sky Sport Deutschland have absolutely none of it and believe Bayern would demand close to £ 100 million to sell Coman.

Bayern, who claim they are not aware of the interest in the winger, have hit the price tag on Coman’s head because they know it would scare away all suitors. They do not want to sell the 25-year-old, who scored five goals and 12 assists in 29 Bundesliga matches last year.

Instead, they plan to continue negotiations with Coman to extend their stay at the club, but there is an acceptance that there is a pretty real obstacle to overcome before that happens.

For Liverpool, this means they have to look elsewhere in their search for attacking reinforcements, with reports suggesting that Porto man Otavio may be high on their shopping list.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be personally pushing for Otavio’s signature and an agreement can be finalized in the next few days. He comes with a £ 34 million release clause that jumps up to £ 50 million later this summer. So if a move for Otavio comes, it is expected to be done very soon.

The plan is to finance a move for a new forward by selling some of the wingers in Klopp’s squad, with Xherdan Shaqiri one of several men who are pushed towards the exit door.

Lazio have been tipped to launch a £ 13m bid for the Swiss international, which can be followed from Anfield by the likes of Takumi Minamino, Divock Origi, Harry Wilson and a handful of other players.
