This is the first meeting of its kind since the coup on 18 August. The head of government extended his hand to the nation’s forces, which responded positively to jointly define the priorities for institutional and political reforms. “The important thing is inclusivity. Twice a month
Approved by all for having taken the initiative for the meeting, the Malian Prime Minister announced, after five hours of discussions, the establishment of a Strategic Committee on Political and Institutional Reform (COS), a framework for all. And Moctar Ouane wants to go fast: “In the coming days, I want to formalize all this so we can speed up the pace.” COS set up, which will serve as a framework for consultation, will meet at least twice a month.
