The first attack was aimed at a transport bus with several passengers on board, 5 km from the city of Taparko, in the Center-North region. The bus jumped on an improvised explosive device, placed in a pit on highway N ° 3 leading to Dori. The bus was thrown by the explosion and completely destroyed.
A team from the 11th Command Infantry Regiment and the gendarmes from the Dori Squadron went to the scene. It is on a par with the town of Yalgo, on the same road axis where the attack on the bus took place, that the gendarmes fall into an ambush in the afternoon.
In recent weeks, armed groups appear to have decided to put pressure on the city of Dori, the capital of the Sahel region.
On March 3, Dori Intermediate Court discontinued all operations for security reasons. A press release from the prosecutor informed the public that they could obtain certain documents, in particular the criminal record, at the Court of Appeal in Ouaga 2000, more than 300 km away for certain residents of the Sahel region.
